In Professor Amanda Guzman’s Communities In/Of Practice, we have discussed ways in which scholars can effectively and ethically communicate research with a specific group of individuals. We studied ways in which research can extend its impact beyond academia to benefit wider communities, using methods such as collaborative partnerships.
Through the course, students were trained to use a variety of digital humanities platforms in order to broaden our academic tool belt and understand what projects require specific approaches.
